Altrobyte Automation Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates AltronBot, a WhatsApp AI Agent platform for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect data when businesses and their customers use our platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Business Clients (Platform Users):
- Business name, owner name, email address
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) details
- Phone number IDs and access tokens
- Bot configuration data (system prompts, knowledge base)
- Subscription and billing information

2.2 End Users (Customers of our clients):
- WhatsApp phone numbers of individuals who message our clients' bots
- Message content sent to and received from the AI bot
- Lead information voluntarily shared during conversations (name, phone, interest)

3. How We Use Your Information

- To provide and operate the AltronBot WhatsApp AI Agent service
- To process and respond to customer messages on behalf of client businesses
- To display conversation history and leads in the business dashboard
- To improve bot response quality and platform performance
- To send service-related communications to business clients
- To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

- All data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure
- Message data and conversation history are retained as long as the business account is active
- Access tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect all data
- Data is deleted within 30 days of account termination upon request

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties except:

- Meta Platforms Inc. – We use WhatsApp Business API to send and receive messages. Message data passes through Meta's infrastructure per their terms.
- Groq Inc. – We use Groq's AI API to process messages and generate responses. Message content is processed through Groq's systems.
- Render Inc. – Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Render's cloud platform.
- Legal requirements – We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.

6. WhatsApp Data

Our platform operates as a Meta Tech Provider. We access WhatsApp Business API on behalf of our client businesses. All WhatsApp data handling complies with Meta's Platform Terms and WhatsApp Business Policy.

7. Data Retention

- Business account data: Retained as long as the account is active
- Conversation data: Retained for service delivery purposes
- Lead data: Retained until deleted by the business client
- Upon account termination: Data deleted within 30 days upon written request

8. Your Rights

Business clients have the right to:
- Access their data stored on our platform
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of their data
- Export their conversation and lead data
- Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Cookies

Our web dashboard may use cookies for authentication and session management. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify business clients of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
